Ha, we all want that, but I'm trying to be a little realistic in the approach, especially since there are so many restrictions on the amount of players to be brought in. Obviously my list excludes guys that aren't ranked super high, which the staff of course will bring in some of those raw players.

Jesus can we just take one day off? Seriously though, I think 7 of the top 30 players and 14 in the top 100 is unrealistic, even for Meyer.
Ole Miss just landed 3 in the top 20 and you think 7 in the top 30 is unrealistic for Urban Meyer? He will land whoever he wants if we win the Rose Bowl or a national title this year. The kids are going to start lining up to play for him now that he has had time to develop relationships with him. The only thing that can hurt us is if Herman or Withers leaves.
Ideally? We get these guys.

There was a report not too long ago by a reporter down there who was standing next to Urban and KC and Urban asked him his interest level and KC said he wasnt. Take it FWIW but he would still be a tough pull from Miami.

It's likely going to be much lower. Three WRs is a little high, three DL is a little high. Move Dante to OLB and take out Berger and I think you'd be very close.
Dante may come as a LB, but with his size already I see virtually no way he doesn't end up on the D line

Meyer know's what he is doing with this class, but he most likely knows something we dont or has one hell of a plan. Considering that we have well over 100 offers out this early in a loaded class when we have limited schollies for this class and a small class leaving after this year.
Things just dont add up when you know for fact that this will be small class, and you would think that there wouldnt be many offers at this point and Meyer would have a very solid group of prospects that he would be heavily recruiting more than others. But when you look and see well over 100 offers out there, you have to know something up. Meyer is giving offers out right now like its halloween candy. Now you really think he would be handing out offers like its candy if he planned on having a very small class or if he didnt know something we didnt or he dosnt have a trick up his sleeve? Most likely he would be saving them offers like there precious diamonds.
Meyer knows something we dont. Ill leave the rest at that.

Might have to add Blanding to my list as he stated today the one visit in his mind he HAS to take is to tOSU to check it out. With all the coaching changes this year I forgot to factor in how that would affect 2014. Blanding was considered a slight lean to FSU but with all their changes maybe that prompted him to say that today. I will say if we land Blanding to go with Webb and Lattimore if he stays on D then I will be mad as hell if we dont play tight man every possession and just let those boys play on islands with that talent!
Urban Meyer said today in his press conference that his priorities this year in order is O-line 1A 1B and 1C. Sounds like they're going to take a big haul next year.
Good. While I love that offensive playmakers, I'm starting to get very concerned about who's going to block for them.
Damian Prince is from my alma mater, and could be their biggest recruit ever (in both senses of the word "big"), so he's the one I want the most.

My school's biggest recruit, both literally and figuratively, was Tommy Brown, so you've got me beat.
Of all the true T's were in on Jamarco and Damian are def considered elite and would make a nasty LT/RT combo.
Nobody has listed Hand on their list. I realize he doesn't currently have tOSU in his top 5, but our staff just hauled in the #2 class for 2013 and if Urban "Honeybadger" Meyer wants Hand, I believe he can get him. Especially after we run off another 12+ wins!
Every school would take Hand no matter the circumstances, but we might the only school so stacked at DE he wouldn't crack the lineup outright. That has to weigh into his decision.
Don't forget about Blazevitch! No one seems to believe we have a shot with him, but I think it's extremely realistic we land him. Thany you to THEBADOWL for at least mentioning him, I think he could be great in this offense, almost like an Adam Brenneman since we missed on him

Currently most services have us as a close second behind 'Bama. They won the NC and we went 12-0. Next year, when Urbz hoists the crystal football, Bama will be a distant second.

I don't think it is too early to talk about next year. I'm thinking once we get a few more verbals, then the dominoes fall. We have so few spots this year (18ish left now with current verbals). I think we load up early and then wait on a few chippers by signing day.

My wishlist is that he locks down as many of those Georgia and Texas kids as possible. Saban pulls quality talent from those 2 states every year and look what it's done for him. Grab the great talent from Ohio, snag 8-10 kids from Georgia, Texas, and Florida, and the Buckeyes will be just fine.
Why is no one mentioning Hand? I know he doesn't have us in his top 5 right now, but He says we a 6th. This means he is interested. A long way to go and if we pull in some of the big name players we are in the running for, he would be crazy not to give us a closer look. Still lots of time left, lots will change. I will be watching his recruitment closely.
Urban is still recruiting Hand, and if Urban hasn't given up hope I see no reason to.
