Da'Shawn Hand is Rivals "Junior of the Year". This may not surprise a lot of people as many people feel he is the best recruit in the country despite class. Rivals does have a great FREE article with a good video on Da'Shawn Hand and him being their choice for "Junior of the Year". tOSU might be sitting at sixth on his schools list, but this article makes me hope we push even harder for him! I just saw a tweet that Hand changed his top 5, adding Florida and removing North Carolina. How the hell did Florida move ahead of OSU? I thought OSU was #6?

I think it's unlikely that we will land Hand, considering next year we should have two 5 stars manning our Defensive End positions as true Sophomores in Spence and Washington.
Best case for him he wouldn't see more than spot time until his Sophomore year if Washington/Spence leave after Jr year, but if they don't he likely wouldn't be starting until he is a Junior.
Few #1 prospects would want to head into a program with that kind of depth ahead of him, and he doesn't seem to be as intently interested in us as much as he is other schools.
If there is a position we are pretty well off at, it's definitely DE, and it's much more important for us to land 4 great OL in 2014. I'd love to have him, but I wouldn't get too worked up over him.
Don't sleep on Steve Miller or Se'Von Pittman.

Given that my proclamation is tongue in cheek, be as much of a smartalec as you wish :).
He will not join TTUN either. His somewhat smug, perturbed, general "stinkface" that he was wearing during The Game, and his comment about the weather said it all to me. Just a vibe I got. We'll see in 12 months.
