Wrestling in the 285lb semifinals of the NJSIAA state tournament in 4OT:

I hope we get him just so Ohio State gets better deals on Paper
HAHA! I upvoted that one!

Looks like Urban wants at least one JuCo OL who can come start right away when the 4 seniors leave after this year
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite

Great match but you hate to see it end the way it did.
now that is a big boy
How many years would he have of eligibility?
From what I can gather, he has 2 years, but can only play one season.
That's also what his 247 Profile says.
Edit: Eluemunor clarified today that he has 3 years to play 2.
Same as Corey Smith 3 to play 2 at least I hope so kid is a freak athlete but you'd better be the second coming of Orlando Pace if you get a scholly to play only 1 year.
I disagree actually. He will be coming in for a year in which we will need to replace 4 offensive lineman. Having a guy with college level experience starting for a team would be huge in making that OL a little more stable. It would give the younger guys one more year to develop before being thrown onto the big stage
However if he has 3 to play 2 that would be even better
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
It's a fact, now that we got that cleared up
he sure has some nice offers. hopefully we get him i still want zeus's son the most
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
He can only play 1 season? If that's the case then I'm curious how hard they will go after this kid. If Urban really wants a JUCO OL for the experience, then maybe they have more interest in the other JUCO kid recently offered, Mavety.
And let's say they do get a JUCO OL, that would leave 2 more spots available. Who would feel the remaining 2 spots. You would think Jamarco Jones would be one, then a fight for the last spot between Braden Smith, Damien Prince, Orlando Brown, Roderick Johnson, Alex Bars.

He has two years but could only play one? So that would be in 2015? We might need a stop gap that year. This seems like the type of dude Warrier could turn into a stud.
Since he's at a JuCo and not at a D1 school he could play in 2014 or he could redshirt and play in 2015, but whatever he does he has to use that year of eligibility by 2015 or he loses it. He couldn't play in 2016 or beyond.
Thanks gray box for being all over it like usual
+1 No problem!
Citrus, Eluemunori clarified that he actually has 3 years to play 2, not 2 to play 1. So the same as I said would apply before, just add one year. Since he's at a JuCo and not at a D1 school he could play in 2014 and 2015 or he could redshirt and play in 2015 and 2016 or he could even redshirt in 2015 and play in 2014 and 2016, but whatever he does he has to use those two years of eligibility by the end of 2016 or he loses it. He couldn't play in 2017 or beyond. This is really good news to me. I think that extra year is huge and makes my want of him go way up.
I agree. It seems to me that this guy would have a very good chance of starting immediately next year. Bear in mind that his highlight video is against college players not high school kids.
So we he play RT? I mean that is the one place we'll be ok with Decker (unless Decker goes to LT).
I'm not sure if this is a good get or bad but at this point in, I'm really starting to be concerned about our OL and the recruits we are bringing in. Besides Trout, has Urban even signed a good OL so far?
Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State vs. Savannah State. - SB Nation following OSU vs. UM 2012
2014 4* OG Marcelys Jones is a good one and may be even better then Trout, althgouh Jones will likely be a gaurd and Trout a tackel. Last Urban signed OL 4* Evan Lisle and OG 4* Timothy Gardner as well as getting DT/OG 4* Donovan Munger and DT 4* Billy Price one of which, if not both, could end up on the offense of side of the ball or they could both stay on the defensive side. He also turned a TE in Fragel into potentially a really good NFL offensive lineman. This year looks like it could be a really good year of OL for Urban too. The offensive line was one of the positions that he was lesser known for at Florida. Urban has done a great job getting his player the ball in space both cutting down the need for great OL and the effectiveness of opposing DL. Now I do want the best Offensive linemen we can get no matter what, but this is one of the few positions that Urban may have to prove himself a little more before we start getting a lot of elite OL jumping on board early. That's one of of the reasons that getting Eluemunor could be even more beneficial. If he can come in and play well and show that Urban has good lineman, it will help other lineman what to come in and play for him especially knowing that Eluemunor only has two years of eligibility and they won't have to sit behind him for long.
Don't forget without Urban we don't land Dodson or Decker, who are perhaps the future Tackles for a national title or two
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
+1 Great points Triv! I didn't even go back to that class, but you are absolutely right! Two more to add to Urb's resume.
I believe Price stays on the D-line. Urban said that Price was the most ready of any D-line recruit (including Bosa) to play right away do to his physicality. I think Munger has a better chance to end up on the O-line. That may be why he briefly flirted with Florida St.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
That's what I thought at first but FSU was recruiting him for the OL.
I think that even more important than playing against college level athletes is knowing that a kid can transition between living at mom and pops and doing high school homework to actually going to college and keeping the grades up and managing to play football all on his own.
Update: Arizona State offered Eluemunor
