I don't know if anyone cares about this but the AJC the other day had a small article on Watson, his commitment to Clemson, and a possible flip to Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes. If I can find it online I will post the link. Just thought you should know that Urban is doing work...

That's good to hear bc there has to be a reason urbans waiting so long for Watson. He doesn't seem like the type to put all his eggs in one basket without good reason. From what I've seen on Watson he is by far the best qb in 2014. Hr set the Georgia records for almost every category there is. Not to mention it sounds like barker has moved on making you think he may know something.

Not that I am saying Watson isn't that great (I've never seen him play) but why isn't he ranked higher? It seems like his numbers are great and he is physically impressive, but usually if a QB is breaking records they would shoot him up towards the top of the rankings. He doesn't seem as highly touted as Braxton or TP and Barker actually is rated higher than him on a lot of the sites. I trust Urban so it doesn't really matter, just curious why he is so low.

Edit: after watching his tape just now, I don't care where he is ranked. Unless Cam Newton is a HS junior now too, I say go get this guy.

It's not from the AJC but this MaxPreps article is probably similar to the one you read: Urban Meyer visits DeShaun Watson. It has some good stats on Watson and his highlight video in there as well.

With all the press Braxton is going to get running Urban's offense with better talent and another year of coaching it is going to make tOSU a very enticing option.

Although the same thing could be said with Clemson and Boyd from their standpoint I suppose.
