Does he or doesn't he?

I have to believe, if he gets an offer, he's all Buckeye as it's his dream school and Urban Meyer is his idol.
I completely agree... I'm not sure when he will get that offer tho. I believe this visit is purely to keep OSU in his interests. I think the staff wants to pursue Watson a little longer. Obviously this is pure speculation.
There was a chat with Bill Kurelic on 247 about Deshaun Watson and OSU yesterday. Did anybody happen to read the chat and what he said about Watson/OSU?
Definitely not a burner in the backfield, but then neither was Alex Smith or Tebow. I like his motion. Very compact and pretty quick. Still, I'd prefer the QB in Meyer's system be the lightning back who gets limited carries, not the big back. It works, but man, the QB takes a bunch of hits.
If we get Henderson he will have plenty of time to add some quickness and bulk under Coach Mick. The only way he sees the field in his first 2 years is if Cardale Jones and JT Barrett are both busts or get hurt. A couple of years of maturation physically would be a big advantage. Plus, he would have time to learn the system and try to perfect the zone read. Someone who can run the zone read well will limit their big hits they take.

Um what? Henderson is ranked better then both Jones and Barrett IIRC
Posted this in the visitor thread, but Caleb Henderson is not going to be at OSU this weekend per Marc Givler of Rivals. He hopes to pin down a late-March visit. Link
Kid can throw, with accuracy...
Catch at 43sec is sick...
Reminds me a little of Christian Ponder, in a good way.
I like both Barker and Henderson. What impresses me about them is that, while they won't ever compare to Braxton in terms of running ability, they both throw the deep ball well and accurate. In a spread offense that utilizes a lot of the zone read, the deep passing game will always be there. Defenses can't afford to bring a safety down and they can't afford not to do so.
If we bring in the skill players to get open downfield (and there's no reason to believe we won't continue to do so), then I will take either Barker or Henderson and be happy going forward.
Said in another post but reminds me somewhat of Andrew Luck esp when running forward and squaring his shoulders his throwing motion (over the top) is very similar. I believe if we offered he would not drag it out too long before committing. Obviously we all want Watson but this kid has a very good skillset in his own right. I can't be the only one who's at least a little curious to find out what an Andrew Luck type could do in this offense. Again not saying he will be even close but the tapes between the two are similar in throwing motion, fundamentals, pocket movement/awareness, etc.
Updated: Henderson will not be visiting tOSU this weekend and a when/if the visit will be rescheduled is has not been confirmed yet.
Sounds like either one side, or both has decided to part ways..either feel good about someone else or just dont think Henderson's game would translate in this offense, imo.
