Todd Kelly Jr is the son of, Todd Kelly, a star defensive end for the Tennessee Vols and a first-round pick in the NFL draft. His sister is a cheerleader at Alabama, but he wants to make a name for himself and isn't being pressured to go anywhere by his family. He is being compared to USC's Taylor Mays because he is a big and fast safety at 6'1" and 190lbs he ran a 4.46 electronically timed 40. ESPN Free Article - Making a name for himself. He's my top 2014 Safety want at the moment too! I thought that after everyone got excited for CB Peppers highlights yesterday, they would be stoked to see these ones too! Drew Barker defiantly likes them!

Todd Kelly Is the real deal. Gotta get him up for FNL. Looks way better on tape then Nicholson. A pull of Peppers, Lattimore Webb and Kelly would be MINT!

I agree Aesulus! Although having Webb and Peppers at CB with Kelly at Safety would be a No Fly Zone for sure! Ohio State visited Kelly's school on October 6th. I'm not sure when they will visit again but the way Urb and Coombs hit 13 schools in one day recently, they could be there soon! I also know that Kelly was not in favor of our bowl ban.

+1 It literally his the circle highlighting him talking trash on the other team's sideline after that big hit he just made. Not the biggest fan of trash talking, but it makes me want to see him doing that to the Maze and Blue while wearing Scarlet and Gray!

Todd Kelly Jr. reminds me somewhat of Mike Doss. Now, I'm not saying he will have the college or NFL career that Doss had (or even Kelly Sr.), but they have a similar body type and are the same Ht: 5'10" and Kelly will likely be about the same weight as he is listed at 190lbs as a Jr. and Doss was listed at 207lbs at tOSU. They are also both hard hitting safties. Even if my comparison is way off, it's at least a good excuse to watch some Doss highlights!
We all know he is a phenomenal athlete. Check out this kid's character.

Kelly unfortunately isn't saying too much about his tOSU visit. What I do know about it is that he did seem to enjoy it, he brought both of his parents this time (his mother's first visit and his father's second) and it was his first time touring the campus and learning about academics. It sounds like his mother enjoyed it but is going to let him make his own decision. He is a Tennessee legacy, and according to one of the Tennessee sites, they think Alabama is the other main player for Kelly right now. That's all I know for at this point, but I'll keep you abreast as I find out more.
