Back in the late 70's they had a set of twins from Covington, Ohio play for them. Tim and Terry Vogler. I believe that Tim went on to play guard for the Buffalo Bills.
I believe we already have twins on the current roster. Michael and Blake Thomas. If they didn't have different numbers you'd never be able to tell them apart:
WOW,never thought this would happen.Thought maybe Wilson or Carrington, but never thought these guys would consider visiting.I'll eat my pie and crow now!!
I really like these two as prospects and think with their versatility they definitely can round out the class well. Both can play offense or defense. Really intriguing prospects IMHO.
The Robinson twins play basketball too. Hypothetically, they also play for Thad. Couldn't Thad offer the scholarships and it count against the basketball team (or at least one of them)??? The Robinson twins would be walk-ons for the football team but scholie players for the basketball team and thus not count against Urbz's scholie numbers??
I've seen a few mentions of this, but does anyone actually know how good they are? ESPN doesn't have them listed at all as basketball prospects from what I could see. How about any other sites?
I think this could work out in our favor... We have the possibility of covering a safety and WR need with these guys... If we land Bell we can make them both WR's... I think the staff wants another OL, but I think they'd be willing to wait until next year to fill it.
I think the chances Corey Smith being in this class is getting very slim. With Bell, Wilson, Hunt, Skipper and the Robinson twins (maybe Carrington) all in play, I think he is a 2nd option for Urban right now IMO. Gonna be a epic finish!!
This sucks to be quite honest....I was hoping they'd come. However...on the flip side...that must mean...others are hopefully closer to committing then they were (Clark, Wilson, or hell give me Timmons at this point...this class needs some additional speed. It's good but could be great with one or two more play makers).

I was really wishing they'd come for their visit because we *need* some taller receivers. I posted about this in another thread. I want to see urban grab someone who is 6'3-6'5" and can play outside - i.e. be the big red zone target, abuse smaller db's. The twins fit that bill perfectly. (At least one of them would.)
Still say it's a long shot, but they'd be great pickups.
Just a life long Buckeye fan wanting to talk to other lifelong Buckeye fans. Our honor defend, we will fight to the end for OOO HIIII OOOOOO!
Has OSU ever had a set of twins on their team? I know there have been brothers but I can't remember twins.
They had cheerleaders that were twins, I think their name was Monique and Unique

D. Anthony
This could get very interesting real quickly...
Pushing all limits, how many could we really take?

SCOTTC.
Very good prospects, can play multiple positions.

This image comes to mind:
This is going to get sticky if we end up getting some of these guys to flip. Room is an issue.
Not sure of the numbers game here, but we can't take more than three or four more.
To ALL prospective recruits:
Better jump on now if you want to be a part of the NC Urban wagon !!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Also will help me out with my constant checks and sleep to see who is on board next.
I don't think space is an issue. Robinson twins would just mean that they occupy spots that were reserved for Gibson and Quick.

Maybe there is a rule against this????
Schollies go against the higher revenue sport which would be football.
They have to take the football scholarship. If i remember correctly its because the FB season comes before the BB season.

Say Wilson wanted to commit as well? What happens with that scenario? Count on more attrition and take all these guys?
One of the twins can play safety... Wilson and the other twin can play WR.
Definitely an issue. However a good one to have!
Bell, Robinson twins, Wilson, Smith, Hunt etc....

TWINS BASIL!
I think Coach would take the twins, Wilson and then wait for Bell and call it a day if he could.
Go Bucks!
We'll see on this. Long way to go. Gotta make sure they stay true to word and take visit.
Their fantastic prospects, by the way. But I'm an untrained eye. So take that FWIW.
Beat me to it sin! Wonder if Urban told them not to come? Already got things lined up?

They must have seen what the temp would be this week.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I think if there was still time for me to 'flip' to a different school, I would, after the weather today.
I think they will end up at Arizona
