PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
With some of our commits going on visits and receiving last minute offers should we be worried? or does Meyer have this class on lockdown?
Check the man's track record. How many times has he lost guys that were commits this late in the process.
Amen. If anything, we should be "worried" about which surprise recruits he's going to persuade to commit on Signing Day. We see you Vonn Bell.
Keep Calm and Ignore the Trolls.
This would be a better thread on a USC recruiting website
LMAO @USC, Having them down in the west is just going to open it up for everyone, just like Texas and the disaster that is Mack Brown!

LOL. Lane Kiffin at USC is a great gift to the rest of College Football.
Hopefully they give him an extension or an Iowa-style buyout clause.

i agree i look for ucla to start making some noise out west... also, i never really understood why kids would want to go to usc the way they do ucla is a far nicer campus
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
No kidding- UCLA's campus is so much nicer and in a much better place. Too bad Pepperdine doesn't have a great football team. Now that is a campus.
Having just moved from that area... Pepperdine, University of California Santa Barbara (USCB), and Santa Barbara City College have to take the cake on campuses. If I could have only known this prior to my first college selection...
Hard to argue against Pepperdine, just judging from pictures/personal accounts from friends. I have a friend who went there and apparently would play pickup basketball and sand volleyball games with Adam Sandler all the time. Apparently he just kind of hangs out on campus.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Santa Barbara City College (more downtown):
From what I hear, Munger is solid to OSU as of today. As far as Elliott....well, a guy who has been committed for 9 months just doesn't decide to make another visit for no reason. Doesn't mean he's gonna flip but something is up.
Just saw Alex' thread. That should alleviate some angst. Maybe. :)
Elliot visiting scares me all this time to visit and with two weeks he decides to visit Mizzou. I thought he was a lock but you never know with recruiting its crazy. Hope he comes away from his visit liking the Buckeyes even more.
I'd watch the Munger thing
Not worried about Elliott
Both situations seemed to be very similar, although I remember hearing somewhere that Munger's OV to FSU was more of a vacation, although if they blew him away, it could mean trouble for us.
Also, do the problems with Munger coincide or lead to any problems with Marcelys Jones? Because losing our first commit of 2014 would kill our momentum. Although I believe that yesterday, Marcelys was actively recruiting Kyle Berger on Twitter, so maybe there's nothing to worry about.
As for Zeke, I really hope you're right. I personally don't see him leaving, but scheduling an OV to a school where he's a double-legacy two weeks before NSD is kind of a red flag, is it not?
I'm trying to stir the pot - okay, maybe I am - but for some reason I sensed that Munger's somewhat unexpected commitment (back in December?) was perhaps a main factor pertaining to why the "mystery flip" thing was no longer in the cards.
Just a hunch at the time - it might have been way off base.
I assume that the mystery flip was Malik Zaire, but I've been wrong about things before so I wouldn't trust me.
Losing Munger would STINK. The kid has star written all over him. I'd be much, much more distraught over losing him than seeing O'Connor or Powell leave the program or even us failing to land someone like Bell or Wilson.

Did Powell leave?
Powell did NOT leave the program. I believe he is thinking Crowell?
OK. Thought maybe I blacked out and missed something.
Connor Crowell left, took medical hardship
My bad, yes Crowell
I think that our highest quality recruits are secure--though I am a little worried about the hometown school for Elliot. I don't think this class needs more than 20 guys as long as we maintain those top caliber players that are already committed.
Homer alert, but anyone who decommits is really missing out on a chance to start and maintain a dynasty. That said, I will never judge any young man for choosing where he wants to go to school-- kyle kalis running his mouth last year and embarrassing my high school being the exception.
