EDIT: Read the comment section
There is so much ignorance in the comment section there its not even funny.
What about the Eagles for poaching Oregons coach!?
These players have committed On some level to Chip Kelly himself. Factor in Chip leaving with the fact nobody has signed yet and it's fair game. If they want to stay, then stay...Urban is not forcing and/or manipulating these kids.
FSU, Mizzou, etc are coming after our recruits still...where's that message board?
People looking up will find anything to grasp at to dismiss those at the top.
UFM - "that's right I'm dangerous"
I don't think he was recruiting the Robinson twins or Carrington, because they didn't have offers, but oh well anyway, just like the article says, its part of the cut throat business that college football has become. Go get em UFM, and Go Bucks.

Haha, YES! "Oderint Dum Metuant" should be above every doorway at the Woody and the Shoe.

You're god damned right we're stealing your recruits. Can't keep your coach, so we'll take his players.
Just a life long Buckeye fan wanting to talk to other lifelong Buckeye fans. Our honor defend, we will fight to the end for OOO HIIII OOOOOO!
"Urban Meyer is coming after Oregon’s top recruits after Chip Kelly left"
Really? That's your headline?
"I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying." -Woody Hayes
IMO: Dr. Saturday, like most of the Yahoo bloggish stuff, is dumb.
I find it funny that people feel it is a classless act for a man to do his job. Its like telling an accountant that he shouldn't add numbers because its classless.
FYI, if you have any doubts about the "integrity" of Urban Meyer, he didn't go anywhere near the current players that were on PSU's team (true most of them aren't worthwhile but still) when many other programs did. They call it classless to go after recruits that are only verballed but don't take into account that he won't go after players who are already committed to a program.
besides, who cares what they think. Winning is winning, take it like a program that has been there before and stop the whining.
I also enjoy the flavor of the month comments from some of the people. IE when we lost to Florida we couldn't match their speed because we had slow Ohio kids and would have to change that to compete. Fast forward to today and I read about how Ohio has no pride becuase we don't want kids from our own state. It really gets silly at times.
Our honor defend we will fight to the end for Ohio..
We are take all your lunch money too. <cat picture>
Funny, too, that there's no mention of Cameron Hunt. Isn't Oregon doing the exact same thing to Cal?
This link actually made my day. Thank you! I wonder how Oregon fans would feel if they successfully flipped a big time SC commit, or someone like that. Still waiting for a Yahoo article regarding the other schools going after these same recruits...
Urban Warfare
Not sure how to feel knowing that there are several stupid, narrowminded morons that have no idea what they are talking about, and they think they are right..... Everything they are saying is just completely wrong, and they believe it as such. Truly feel sorry for them. DAMNIT IT FEELS GOOD TO BE A BUCKEYE FAN!!!!
It is funny to read that stuff and laugh, but I caution everyone not to get to high and mighty. I remember what it was like on this site when Shariff Floyd changed his mind last minute and went to Florida. Especially, when crazy stories(mostly false or exaggerated) about Urban saying Jesus wanted Floyd to play for him came out. There were many on this very site calling Urban a Scumbag and screaming about how he was a dirty recruiter and he'd do and say anything to get recruits he wanted to join on with Florida.
This stuff is funny, but I bet if the staff were able to find posts from that day, we wouldn't have many comments about what the Oregon fans are saying right now.
I found the article to be typical yahoo garbage...however the comments were the best. Thanks for the find Chi-town Buckeye.

Yahoo's comment section is on the same level as ESPiN's. It's best to avoid it.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
No doubt, but that's why it's funny.
URbz drinks everybody's milkshake!
Seriously, I am not mad at FSU for trying to get Munger. THESE KIDS AREN'T PROPERTY. It isn't sleazy for Jimbo to give a kid another option. I think going there would be a bad choice. As a fan I want the best recruits but there is nothing sleazy or classless about it. Further, these kids are making up their own minds. How crappy would it be for an out-of-state Oregon recruit to be stuck with Oregon after the guy that recruited him left? If Wilson wasn't interested he could say so. Otherwise, it's good that he has an opportunity to make an informed decision.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with going after guys who have verballed somewhere else. It seems every conference other than the SEC has a problem with a coach from another program actually recruiting guys until signing day, whether they are comitted or not. They spend more money on coaching, they are more cuthroat and ruthless recruiting wise, and they win a ton of ball games. There's a reason why Saban and Meyer are so successful. They are great coaches first but they will do whatever it takes to land elite recruiting classes.
I guess for fans at other schools it's easier to be outraged with what the other guys are doing instead of demanding the same kind of excellence guys like Saban and Meyer produce year in and year out.
