Knowing that all 3 of these guys were committed to Oregon, what are the odds that OSU can get all 3 players as a "package deal"? (i.e. if Wilson comes, then the Robinsons come; and vice-versa)
Do you think that the twins intentionally planned their visit to coincide with Wilson's? Perhaps there a strong friendship that developed during their recruiting that is keeping them together? Interesting that the twins suddenly decided to take an OV to OSU after Wilson made his choice to do so.
This is all just speculation - but it's still fun to think about.

I think that they decided soon after they were offered. Im assuming it cannot hurt that they probably know each other to some degree though. Im curious to see what positions Coach Meyer has in mind for them. Seems like they could play wr, safety or lb. If we are lucky enough to land them Im hoping they can both play wr or 1 can play wr and 1 can play safety.

I don't know if they decided to take the visit to coincide with Dontre's as much as perhaps the Buckeye coaches pushed them to take it that weekend. Relationships are a HUGE factor in deciding what school to attend and the fact they already are aquainted, at least, with Dontre could only help in my mind.
Can't wait to get them on campus!!
“Right now, Michigan is not at the pinnacle of college football, and that’s all Urban Meyer cares about...He’s been there and knows what it takes to get there.”
If Coombs is recruiting all 3, it might actually happen.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Well we know for a fact that Herman and Meyer are handling Wilson's recruitment, so there's the first hole in that theory haha
Well Urban is there, so that's ok too. lol

What does that do to this class and the other guys we where hoping to land of we end up with these three? I by no means would be upset if we landed all three but do we just let Bell go if these three want to commit to us?
Because I couldn't go for three. -Woody-
With as great as Vonn Bell is, these kids are great talents as well. Landing one of these guys is a little easier than competing with Bama for Bell. Just my 2 cents.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
well news have come around saying that kirby smart will be chip kellys DC in phili so that will help us lure bell
BOOOOOOM
From the couple (not many) articles I've read, it seems like we have a much better chance of flipping Wilson than the Robinson twins, so I wouldn't say they're a package deal. BUT, that doesn't mean it's not possible to flip all three, just that Tyree Robinson has stated in an interview and on twitter that he and his brother are very solid to Oregon. That said, if someone's taking a visit they're open to flipping so it's not impossible. I just wouldn't get my hopes up about the Robinson twins based on the fact that Oregon's had a much longer time to build a relationship with them, and they said even after Kelly's leaving that they were solid to Oregon.
Is there a chance we land Wilson, Bell, and the Robinson twins? That would be a great final push for this class...
I think we see Corey Smith in this class before the Robinson twins. I don't know for a fact but I would think they would want to play together and with the class almost full, a scholly saved for Bell, Wilson, Corey Smith, it's going to be tough to get all three IMO.
So, if one of these kids flips that means this class will have a flip from scUM, Auburn, and Oregon. I love flipping o ther people's recruits. Last year was pretty sweet too because 2 of my least favorite coaches (Bielema and Dantonio) plus my least favorite fan base (Penn State) were all PISSED.
And West Virginia, (Thompson)

Oregon interviewed the Stanford OC Pep Hamilton for head coaching job. All this helps OSU in bringing in their recruits!
Pep is going to be the Colts OC.
Fan of bacon since 1981
I thought Oregon was saying their OC was the guy if Chip Kelly left??? I could see Wilson and the Robinson twins flipping if Oregon doesn't hire the right person. I'd say Wilson wants to play in a spread offense.
Doesn't seem like the schools plan and Chip Kellys plan for their next head coach are exactly matching up. Maybe they are going to try to seperate from Chip. Heard boosters felt he was a pain in the ass.
Many believe the only reason Pep Hamilton is getting an interview is to fulfill minority candidate law in Oregon. Actually I think Pep Hamilton is rumored to be new Colts OC and reunite with Luck.

Good call, he just accepted the Colts OC job.
I know that the Robinson twins are a package deal, but I don't think Wilson is included in that. Robinson twins are visiting Stanford this weekend so we shall see what happens.
I think the Robinson twins are visiting USC this weekend not Stanford.
Good call. I read Stanford earlier in the thread and confused myself.
Wonder whose spot in that class Kiffin'll give them if they want to commit...
Don't think we can get the Robinsons. Last kid we got from S Diego area was the WR who scrapped with the UM punks in the tunnel before the game.
I think we have a legitimate shot at the twins. They'll be able to come out and play early. I'm not sure what the possibility of playing 2 sports is, but 1 at WR and 1 at S will have an opportunity to crack the rotation as freshmen. If not then, as sophomores for sure.
We'll see on the Robinsons. Could go a bunch of ways.
Could commit on visit to USC. Could visit OSU.
Have to watch and see.
Does USC have any room left?
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
They lost about half their class, so I would guess so...
Even the 50 that were at the AA game?

Just read that K. Bigelow is starting to worry the USC faithful, he was going to be an early enrollee and never stepped foot on campus.
Have we said that the Robinsons twins can play both football and basketball? i know they were looking to do both and USC just fired their basktball head coach
BOOOOOOM
At this point , who would want to go to USC? I understand being able to live the Hollywood lifestyle, but the football program is a circus and Lane Kiffin will be fired after next year. I think if you're looking for stability OSU has to be your best option. I know it's a long way from San Diego, but I'd sacrifice the distance from family for 3-4 years.
Yes. I would say UCLA looks like a better choice than USC right now.
