Just before I started to give Chung some props for the Damon Webb info he goes and does this. I listened to Bill on the radio and he didnt say hes committed yet but apparently Chung hears things differently.
It's not a situation where he still has to call the Mississippi State coaches either. This isn't a done deal. This is an ongoing deal, that could happen, and still could not.
Their was an error in what was reported. Bill Greene had it right. Apparently he was misunderstood. I dont know.
I hope we get this kid. I feel he could come in and make a difference from day 1. I'm not sure about Gibson. I keep reading he is a lock to OSU, but one would think he would've already committed if that were the case. He keeps saying early playing time at WV, but I feel he would be in the rotation at OSU as a freshman. He also has to consider that Geno Smith is gone and Braxton will most likely be back for 2 more years.
Notice Gibson keeps picking his words carefully when talking about eligibility...he always says there are no GRADE issues. I haven't personally read anything where he addresses test scores (correct me if I'm wrong).
the kids are playing their tail off, and the coaches are screwing it up! - JLS
No. Grades are different than test scores. Grades = I got an "A" on my algebra test or class-semester-grade. Test scores = I got a 15 on my ACT (or whatever the scoring scales are now) and I don't qualify for certain colleges.
This is True and great news. He's ready to play day one.
Derek said in the other forum that he hasn't committed......yet
Believe the Gray Box. Nothing else. Lol
Good one.
Probably wants to call the coaches at Miss St. first.

The more all a sudden that other teams are getting into the mix for Shelton, the more I don't think its working out for him and Ohio State.
Other teams are getting into the Shelton Gibson mix because Gibson doesn't have the test scores for OSU. Thus, he won't be attending Ohio State.
So....there ARE grade issues?

I have not seen anything related to the ACT score. So I'm guessing your theory might correct

Gibson has had since last spring to get his act together and commit. I think it is time to move on from him.....
seems like the coaches are one step ahead of you haha. i still like corn and sebastian larue
i thought i remembered gibson saying he scored above a 20... not high but i think it would be high enough for a football player to get a ride
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
