I don't know what a Bleacher Report article is doing in the LA Times, but I actually like this one. I have to say that I agree with every selection.
What say you? Any underrated commits that the article missed?

Unless I am missing something it is Bleacherreport and it appears to simply list our 3 star recruits and Townsend... Not entirely ground breaking but always nice to see guys get recognized I suppose
Hmm, those are our 3 star recruits. I guess that is pretty unimaginative "journalism." Well, at least we know that BR still sux. Why the heck is BR content showing up in the LA Times?
Cool, our punter is underrated.....
"I'm One Bad Buckeye, and I approve this message."
not to mention, they are all our recruits. if this was a more generalized article, with a couple of kids from other teams on it, it might hold a little bit more weight (compared to other bleacher report writing, so slightly more than none). while i think each member of our recruiting class is there for a reason and urban doesn't extend a commitable offer unless there's real value in it, no way do we have the 5 most underrated recruits in the nation out of the thousands of kids. some 5 stars are studs, some are duds. some 3 stars end up great, but a much higher percentage...don't. love our whole 2013 class, but bleacher report sucks
The article is talking about OSU recruits
I like Chris Worley a whole lot, he hits hard on every play. He enjoys punishing whoever is unfortunate enough to run his way, every defense needs a guy like that.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere, & Michigan still sucks
a la Christian Bryant
How is Townsend underrated? He is rated as one of the top punters in the country and played in an All American game. The other guy I would throw on there is Bosa. He is listed by most sites as a 4 star but after watching him play several times I truly believe he is 5 star talent and will contribute early. He reminds me of a more developed Diesel.
whoever wrote this article probably just looked at the star ratings and went from there without doing much additional research.
1. Taivon Jacobs
2. Marcus Baugh
3. Christopher Worley
4. Tracy Sprinkle
5. J.T. Barrett(Feels like his stock plummeted when he got injured)
That's how my list would go.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I have a feeling, when it is all said and done, that Worley could be the gem of this class...He doesn't have the accolades that some of the others have, but he is going to be so versitile in the ways the defensive staff can use him.
I'm kind of in the same boat; when most guys in the class are top 20 guys in the country at their respective positions, they can't be underrated. Even our "under rated" guys are studs in their own rights.
And our punter can't be underrated IMO since he's top 5 in 247 and top 2 in scout So he is basically like Washington was last year
Worley, Sprinkle, Lee and Townsend. The rest are pretty commentate to their current abilities. Besides Bosa...IMHO he should be a Five star at any recruiting site....not sure why he's not.
"There's nothing that cleanses your soul like getting the hell kicked out of you."
"I love football. I think it is most wonderful game in world and I despise to lose."
Woody Hayes 1913 - 1987
out of the list, i feel the only one they really hit right on was sprinkle. Thompson just committed early, daron lee was a local guy that also committed early, and anytime a punter is given a scholarship straight out of high school he cant be underratted ...
BR is showing up on the LA Times because Time Warner bought them within the last year. With more money, marketing, and PR resources they will be able to get their articles more publicized. I read it for the info and take it with a grain of salt. 11W on the other hand is my most trusted Buckeye information resource.
