Does anyone have a current number of people we are taking in 2014? I saw someone post that we will be taking about 18-20. However, as we have seen, there will be people leaving/transferring due to injury/playing time/homesick/etc. So, in my opinion and if the 18-20 is true, I think we will end with about 23-25 after attrition. Any other opinions?

I think I read that 18 is the number... 20 with attrition. Not going to be a 23-25 class unless a lot of guys realize they are never going to see the field or get hurt.

I have heard 18-20 after attrition and stuff.

But we all WISH that this class would go to 25. Because 2014 is a stud class and imagine the damage we could do if we brought in 25!? WOW that would be insane.

Nobody thought this class would reach to 25 though and the possibility is very high. so Meyer can pull some things off and suprise us all, but I doubt it. but dont ever count out Meyer and Co.

18-20 seems to be the number,but if things don't bounce right with finishing up 2013 recruiting,Meyer could always bank a few for 2014.I know thats not what he may want to do,but if we lose out on Bell,Hunt,Skipper, they may just take a WR or 2 and call it a day.

okay, i was hoping that we would just finish with saving a spot for Bell and maybe Wilson and call it a class there. also, I didn't know that the 18-20 included attrition

It will be 24-25 again next year, just like I predicted for this class a year ago when everyone else was saying maybe 20. My sources? I am very friendly with boosters that give alot of money to the program to be friends with the staff lol.

I don't think it will be that high. We have 13 seniors graduating next year 14 with Roby going to the NFL. 15 if Shazier has a monster year and goes too :( We'll have some attrition in there transfers & medical hardships but I don't think we'll have 9-10 of those. My guess is 20-22 but hey ya never know

Yes, OTRAIN is correct, I made a class by class scholarship database. We have 13 Seniors, 16 Juniors, 23 Sophomores and 28 Freshman.

According to the numbers and scholarship reductions, we have 2 spots left and if we were to bank those for next year we would have 15 spots + attrition, currently we only have 13 spots plus attrition.
