Just wanted to start a thread so people can express their thanks for the 11w staff this recruiting season. This has been a fun class to follow, especially once the ball got rolling after starting off well with Jalin Marshall. Alex is the man period. This site is free, its for tOSU fans, its civil, its fun and they repot with solid sources and obtain great content overall. Thanks 11w, thank you for being there when the rest of the internet wasn't. Let em' have it people.

Thanks 11W staff and community. This is the ONE buckeye site I visit on the itrawebs. The staff is amazing with their write-ups and research, but I am equally grateful for the wonderful community of readers/poster. It is unusual/rare to find a site where so many people try to do what is right by others, and of course feel the same devotion to my beloved Buckeyes.

It's not just this recruiting season, Alex was a beast last season as well, and probably the year before that (but my memory is limited to the last 2 years or so, thanks alcohol).
And great comment about Genestawrind, Ninja, that guy cannot possibly have an acutal job with all the recruiting info he churns through and summarizes beautifully for us seemingly daily.
We are indeed spoiled by this fabulous site! THANK YOU!!!

Glad I found this site started reading stuff on it last year but just didn't sign up until this year. Thought I might as well throw my two cents around with fellow fans. Love the insight Alex and staff give its the best OSU board out there in my opinion.
Yep, thanks to all of the 11W staff for what they do for us with their personal time.
I remember looking for blogs about the Buckeyes 6 or 7 years ago, however old the site is, and stumbling upon 11W. I felt early on, the content and writing here was better than anywhere else. I lurked for a while, and just read content. I noticed the commenters were really cool and had great discussions so a few months later I started commenting and I've been absolutely hooked ever since.
The talent they've added to the staff over the years has been great. Every enhancement to the site has been done either by request from the readers or with input from the readers, or to just enhance the site for all of us. To top it off, they spend all the time and effort on this without charging us.
I'm not typically a person who is glued to the internet, but I've been hooked on this site for years, and will be for years to come! Thanks guys and gals for everything you do!
I'm in the same boat as you. I found this site probably 3 or 4 years ago and lurked probably close to a year before signing up and starting to comment. This is head and shoulders, the best Buckeye site.

Originally found out about 11W from a Terrelle Pryor interview. He was asked about something in the news about himself and if he had heard about it, I believe and he mentioned he saw it on 11W. Have checked the site regularly since. I will have to thank Terrelle next time I see him. You guys and gals all are to be commended. You do great work.

Hands down thee best tOSU site on the net. And the fact you guys keep it free is amazing. I know it MAY not be like this forever but thanks for all you do guys! You guys should run yearly fund raisers to pay for trips to all star games, the cell phone bills I'm sure you guys rack up communicating with people, misc expenses, and whatever else. Especially for those of us who want to contribute (I've already bought a shirt off your homage link, but feel like I could do more).
Absolutely, without a doubt, Eleven Warriors is the premier Ohio State fan site on the internet today. I do at times visit several other sites, but I can always come back here and expect to see new content daily.
The articles here are thoughtfully written, and impart both football (or other sport) knowledge and clever insight across the board. I find the majority of posters and fans here to be courteous (with very few exceptions), tolerant, and pleasant to interact with.
(I am, of course, a hermit who lives deep underground when I am in this timeline, and must limit my physical interactions with people, so that I don't totally screw up history)
But anyway...11W...Thank you for keeping this site free to fans while providing as much quality stuff as sites charging high dollar to be an "insider".

Great idea for a forum topic; I've expressed my appreciation before on other threads but it's also nice to be able to sign sort of an electronic "thank you" card for all of the quality effort and time invested by so many.
I came to 11W during the "dark times" when gray boxes more often than not caused my stomach to sink, but that balanced reporting helped me keep perspective amidst all of the wild and, as it turned out, mostly unfounded rumor-mongering that went on elsewhere. Some of the personnel on the site have changed but the product remains remarkably consistent and good.
So, thank you to the staff for feeding my appetite for all things Buckeye, for pulling back a corner of the curtain on how crazy the world of recruiting really is, and for doing it all with a healthy dose of humor and perspective. Your efforts really are appreciated.

Like quite a few, I learned of the site when they broke the Urban Meyer news. Until then, I really didn't visit any sites of any nature on too regular a basis (maybe B&H Photo). Once I started reading the stuff of here from the staff as well as the commentariet - I was hooked. Don't know if there has been a day since November 23 2011 that I haven't been on at least once.
