NFL will continue to Investigate Ezekiel Elliott's domestic abuse

As most of us remember there was extremely concerning news that came out a few months ago that Ezekiel Elliott had been domestically abusive to a former "girlfriend". After police investigation there was not enough evidence to charge him. Between then and now he has rushed for a league leading 700+ yards and has lived up to his number 4 draft pick on the field.

After recent backlash against the NFL for the way the Josh Brown case was handled it is now being reported that while legally cleared, Ezekiel Elliott is still under investigation for the domestic abuse allegations against him. If the NFL finds any evidence that Elliott was abusive he will face an automatic six game suspension. This could possibly ruin his chances at an historic rookie season as well jeopardize his career.

I really hope that the NFL doesn't find anything and the that Zeke is truly innocent. There is no room for domestic abuse anywhere and there shouldn't be any tolerance, but if he is innocent I truly feel bad for him and hope that his public image isn't tarnished but someone's lies. It's always tough to know how to feel when we don't 100% have the truth. Right now I side with Zeke because the police cleared his name.

To further the discussion; below are a number of news stories or rumors involving Elliott in that past year that are troubling.

Off the field Elliott has been linked to a number of stories that might cause one to question his character and judgement. It started with him questioning the play calling after last season's loss to Michigan State. http://thelantern.com/2015/11/ezekiel-elliott-blasts-coaching-staff-announces-decision-to-leave-after-ohio-states-loss/
A little over a month later Elliott was in a minor car accident and was driving without a license. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2015/12/28/ohio-state-ezekiel-elliott-car-crash-cited/77970898/
Elliott finished his Ohio State career with a fantastic game a against Notre Dame before preparing for the NFL Combine and upcoming draft. Elliott performed very well at the combine and was set to be a first round pick. Around this time there were rumors that Joey Bosa had told NFL teams he had to move out of his apartment he had with Elliott because of the temptations and party lifestyle. Some had mentioned Elliott and Bosa liked to go to night clubs and were possibly drinking heavily and/or using marijuana and MDMA/Molly/Ecstasy. http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2016/03/22/ezekiel-elliott-party-drug/
There must not have been a lot of evidence to support this or Bosa's and Elliott's talent was too great to ignore as they were drafted #3 and #4 in the NFL Draft.

Shortly before the start of the 2016 season Elliott was seen entering a marijuana dispensary while in Seattle for a preseason game. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/cowboys-owner-mad-ezekiel-elliott-weed-dispensary-article-1.2766753

Does anyone else share the concern I do about Zeke? Either he is guilty of some of the accusations above or suffers from really bad judgement.

I really believe he needs to take some time to evaluate himself as a person and make some changes. His career will never become what it should if he continues to think without considering the consequences or how his actions will affect his image.
