A handful of interesting moves by the Browns as they try to get down to their final roster.
- Punter Andy Lee traded after deciding not to bother trying to stop a touchdown punt return against Tampa Bay.
- Cornerback K'Waun Williams cut after refusing to play against Green Bay after being demoted. He claimed his ankle was injured.
- High-priced pass rusher Paul Kruger cut. Not sure if there's anything more to that than his salary not matching his production.
- Former #6 pick
BarktaviousBarkeviousKeke Mingo traded for a 5th round pick. The surprise here was that they were able to get something for him when all signs pointed to him being cut.
Browns keep stockpiling draft picks and shedding themselves of prior management's mistakes. They eventually have to pick good players with all these picks, but I have to say that I like the approach.
The Browns will not be good this year, but they will be young, and I think they will play hard and surprise a few teams.
