I admit that I've been a little salty that Auburn never really got punished in any way for Cam's dad taking money to get him to go there, especially as we got hammered for "tat-gate" and Tress lost his job, unceremoniously.
But, I have to admit, I've enjoyed watching Cam Newton in the NFL. The more I read up on him, and the way he kind of undermines the NFL's hypocrisy by simply having fun and connecting with fans, esp. Kids.
This tongue in cheek open letter is a good one and represents some of my new thoughts about Cam.
Are people being too hard on him?
