Lima Senior guard Xavier Simpson set a new school record for points scored in a game last night with 59 points and 8 assists passing one time Ohio State player and his cousin, Greg Simpson, for the school record.  The only problem is young Xavier is a 4* PG who is committed to TTUN.  Is this an example of one that got away from Matta?  I understand the scholarship crunch but wonder if Xavier will be like Mathias from Purdue, that we all wonder what would of happened if he was in S&G.  From what I understand from Xavier's dad, who I went to school with, Xavier was never contacted by Thad at all.

I understand OSU can't take them all but with the way our young Bucks are struggling it will be interesting to see how some in-state talent continues to grow outside of the Ohio State program.
