There was a WMD in a Skully awhile back that linked to a Deadspin article outlining Jason Whitlock's efforts to setup a "black Grantland", and how it was failing miserably, seemingly largely because of Whitlock's inability to manage. That article can be found here:

Shortly thereafter, Whitlock was released from ESPN and he's now taking the opportunity to allegedly fire back at ESPN, Deadspin, and anyone else who has said mean things about him the last two years. I say 'allegedly' because the first part of his rebuttal comes off as a pompous, woe is me, rambling political and racial diatribe that largely says nothing. You can check it out here:

Maybe it's just me, but this guy seems incredibly high on himself and a bit delusional if you ask me. Just seems to think that he's the leading voice in sports journalism and, more importantly to him, race-focused sports journalism. So, anyone have the time to read through this and try to translate what he's saying?
