Okay, I'm putting together a soccer golf outing for my son's (u12) soccer team. I'm expecting 10-12 good soccer players, 2-3 younger siblings of varying skill, 2-3 adults of poor skill, 3-4 adults of moderate skill, and 4-6 adults of good skill.
I'm not a golfer, so I'm not really familiar with scrambles, best balls, skins, etc. There won't be any money involved (maybe side bets, but not my concern).
So what kind of format do you suggest? How do we keep it competitive yet fun given that we'll might range in skill from unathletic mothers / 7-year-olds to athletic former high-school players. Fun and bonding are the key objectives I'm looking for. What I don't want is for someone to feel like they don't have a chance if they can only kick 1/3 the distance of someone else.
