This is sad. Attendance for most of the Oakland series was around 11,000 or fewer. Not sure why its drop with decrease prices in food and beer. Its like an open invitation for cheap fun. Even with the success in homestand winning 8 of 9, we've got to do better. I guess the saying is true: If you win, they will come.
Insert witty remark
As for me, it began with the Dolan era; once Hart left and the team eroded/ stopped spending money, it has been kind of tough. I still follow, but (obviously) live out of state and can't get there for a game. I also haven't bought a ton of baseball gear (Mets or Indians) in a long, long time.
All week long, Meyer preached to his team that he wouldn't pity Buffalo (4--8 in 2012). "I didn't schedule this game," he insisted. "I'm not going to feel bad for them."
