Funny story being I was up there getting ready to play it for the first time last season when that weird "Derecho" storm rolled through Cbus right when I was about to tee off.....didn't end up making it back....hopefully I'll get to play it this year at some point
The Scarlet course has always been a beast, it's unreal now after the renovations. I talked to several players at the Nationwide event and they all say it's as good/hard as anything on the big tour.
I played Gray about 983249589324859235829358 times in college. Only played Scarlet about 5 times. Long and tough...dig the recognition from PGA.
I didn't realize the Jack designed it. Obviously the guy knows what he is doing.

Jack didn't design the course, he helped lead the renovation of the course in 2005-2006. Dr. Alister MacKenzie (same guy who designed Augusta National where they play The Masters) designed the course.

Amazing that there is a UofM guy complaining that their parking lot, I mean golf course, wasnt included...
The UofM guy is right about one thing though it's a great parking lot. Not sure about the golf course, only walked on it and seen 100s of cars not golfers.
You could have told me it was an intramural field from the looks of it every time I've crossed through to go watch "The Game".

Nice to see Purdue's course on the list. Very underrated course. Indiana has many, many great golf courses.
I got to play Kampen (Purdue) last memorial weekend for a 3 day tournament. By far the toughest course I have played. It didn't help that it got very windy on the last day either
Worked at the OSU Golf Courses as a student and played there a bunch - a true world class course in the Scarlet, and the Grey is pretty good too. Collegiate home of Jack Nicklaus, the greatest golfer to ever play the game.
