Ohio State's best player, RHP/DH Josh Desze will be out the first two months of the 2013 season with a "stress reaction" in his lower back, per head coach Greg Beals.
“Most importantly, this is disappointing for Josh,” Beals said. “It’s also a loss for our team as he has been a big part of our team the last two years. On the positive side, Josh hasn’t been right since fall ball and we now know why and have a path that we’re going to follow. Hopefully over the next two months we can get Josh healed and in a position to compete at the level that we’re accustomed to and we’ll wait until he’s at that point.”
“It’s not best for me or the team to compete right now because I’m unable to compete at the level I’m used to with the injury,” Dezse said. “The best thing is to take the two months off to heal and rehab and hopefully I’ll be at 100 percent at that time.”

Not good. Hope the healing and rehab process goes well and he can get back to action for the Bucks.
I went to high school and played baseball with Josh, he missed some time with knee problems in his sophomore year I believe. Kid was a hell of a catcher too but the knnes made it so he couldn't do it anymore. Hope he doesn't stay injury prone throughout his career, has huge potential. He was drafted by the Yankees out of HS in 28th, imagine he could be a top 10 rounder if he goes out this year
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Josh has opted to get the surgery on his back, from what I hear the Buckeyes plan to redshirt him this year
