Former Ohio State star Brian Olinger and current Buckeye Cory Leslie advanced to the finals of the 3000m steeplechase at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. The final round will be held Thursday at 9:30 p.m. Also competing will be former Buckeye Jef See in the 1500m prelims, and Antonio Blanks in the 400m hurdle prelims.
NBC Sports Network will air live coverage from 9:00-11:00 p.m. ET.
Olinger, a five-time All-American and Big Ten champion in track and cross country, finished fifth overall in the preliminary, while Leslie, a First Team All-American in the event at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championship, placed ninth.
