Ohio State offered local product Jerome Hunter on Thursday, according to his AAU coach.
Hunter, a 6-foot-6 wing from nearby Pickerington North High School, is ranked No. 151 overall in the 2018 class and is the sixth-rated player in Ohio, according to 247Sports' composite rankings. That ranking should change soon, however, as Hunter's recruitment has picked up a bit. He has picked up recent offers from both Michigan and West Virginia in addition to the Buckeyes.
Penn State, Dayton and Xavier have each also offered Hunter.
Ohio State currently has one commit in its 2018 recruiting class: four-star guard Dane Goodwin.
