Ohio State is desperate to add at least one more guard in its 2016 recruiting class after both Austin Grandstaff and A.J. Harris transferred from the program after just one season. The Buckeyes currently have just two scholarship guards on their roster in JaQuan Lyle and Kam Williams.
On Monday night, a new name received an offer from Ohio State. D'Mitrik Trice, who hails from Huber Heights, Ohio but is playing this year at IMG Academy after graduating from high school last year, tweeted out this evening he has been offered by the Buckeyes.
Blessed to receive another B1G offer from The University of Ohio State!

If the name sounds familiar, it should. D'Mitrik Trice is the younger brother of former Michigan State star Travis Trice.
D'Mitrik Trice, who is listed at 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds, is a three-star prospect rated as the No. 69 point guard in the country, according to 247Sports' composite rankings. He had offers from Akron, DePaul, Cleveland State and others out of high school, but recently picked up an offer from Wisconsin last week and the Buckeyes offered Monday.
