The media is still slobbering over Jim Harbaugh's sleepovers and IMG trip, yet refuse to acknowledge the elephant in the room-his #1 rival, the team he has to beat to get to the B10 championship and beyond, is absolutely curb stomping him in recruiting for 17'. Why are national recruiting types so silent about this obvious disconnect? Is it b/c twitter and cookie cakes make it easier to for them to file silly stories and have filler for their websites? Is it b/c if they acknowledge tOSU's success they might in turn have to admit that the publicity stunts that they love to write about aren't the end all and be all in recruiting? Is it considered un-PC to specualte that acting like a weirdo might turn some recruits off? Will recruiting "analysts" ask Harbaugh or his assistants in interviews about why a recruit from across the street was turned off by the hometown boys rather quickly?
