Between Ohio State, Tennessee, and Rutgers.  Crystal Balls (including Birm's) are currently in Tennessee's favor.

Guarantano breaks down his three finalists in this B/R article.

Here's Birm's latest, from last night's Hurry-Up:

GONE-AN-TANO

Ohio State's top recruiting target at quarterback will finally make his choice tomorrow. JarrettGuarantano, the country's 131st-ranked prospect and sixth-ranked pro-style quarterback will decide between Ohio State, Tennessee, and Rutgers in a ceremony at his high school at 3:00 p.m.

Ohio State was at one time the favorite to land Guarantano, but at this point Tennessee has overtaken the Buckeyes as the likely landing point. His 247Sports.com crystal ball reflects that change.

What caused the change? Depth charts. Ohio State's very deep at quarterback and no matter what Guarantano liked about the Buckeyes in the beginning, that amount of competition is impossible to ignore.

I fully expect Guarantano to pick Tennessee tomorrow, and the Buckeyes will move on quickly to try and secure DeSoto's Tristen Wallace, which would still be a homerun for the recruiting class.

Here's Birm's other update on the QB situation, from the 4/8 Hurry-Up:

WALLACE ON TAP?

Late last night, hours after Jarrett Guarantano's Ohio State visited ended, the Buckeyes – led by Urban Meyer – were on the horn with Tristen Wallace, the DeSoto, Texas standout quarterback thought by many to be the "next" guy if Guarantano chooses Tennessee or Rutgers. After talking with a few people close to Ohio State yesterday, I did reiterate my belief that Guarantano will choose Tennessee next Wednesday, meaning that Wallace is likely to get the full-court press from Ohio State coaches and soon.

As outsiders looking in, we're often led to believe the most negative aspect of any recruiting situation, so it's natural to think that Wallace – or any other quarterback – would be "put off" by the knowledge that Guarantano was/is the preference. I think, truly, that is almost never the case. These kids do understand the business of football and recruiting and while everyone wants to be everyone's first priority, that's simply not possible. If the lottery commission wanted to give you a million dollars, but asked someone else first who declined, would you be upset or gladly accept that million dollars?

Wallace could make a decision at any time, and he's a great fit for the Buckeye offensive system, so it's worth paying attention to what happens down with him. Could the Buckeyes still be holding out a smidge of hope re: Guarantano and next Wednesday? Of course, but if Wallace wants in before that decision is made, Ohio State will welcome him with open arms.

UPDATE:  Per 11Wer, Hopalong Cassady, Guarantano will be announcing at 3 PM at his high school.
