I touched on this in the Rivals 2017 Top 100 thread, but wanted to go in further detail about the 2017 WR class. There will be some big time targets that gets left out.

With 5 star ATH Bruce Judson already committed, that gives Ohio State one potential WR in the 2017 class. Judson, imo, could still end up playing QB if he grows a couple of inches before he graduates high school, but for now he will likely be an athlete at Ohio State (slot/hybrid WR). Judson has been working all offseason as a WR, and is prepared to play wherever the staff needs him. His acceleration/quickness will be a matchup nightmare at slot.

5 star Trevon Grimes, is as close to a done deal to Ohio State as possible, and could end his recruitment next time he's on campus. He's planning on visiting Ohio State for the Spring Game, and this summer with teammate, 2016 5 star DE target Nick Bosa. Grimes is a tall, rangy WR at 6'4, and the way he glides on the football field makes his speed deceptive. All reports from camps he has been attending this offseason, is that he catches everything thrown his way, and he's ranked as the best WR in the country, regardless of class.

5 star Jeff Thomas, named Ohio State his leader last Summer with FSU running second. His coached mentioned that Ohio State is still recruiting him hard, and has been for a while now. Like teammate 2015 Missouri signee Terry Beckner Jr., Thomas doesn't take many visits, and that likely wont change anytime soon. The good thing for Ohio State and all of the other schools recruiting him, is that Missouri hasn't been mentioned by Thomas as a school that's standing out to him. Thomas is the type of talent you chase until National Signing Day 2017. Best WR in the country, imo.

Ohio also has many instate stud WRs, but the two with the best chance to receive Ohio State offers are, Maple Heights 4 star Javonte Richardson, and Springfield's 4 star Danny Davis. Richardson was recently named to the Rivals top 100, and Davis is a top 100 player on 247sports. Ohio State has been in contact with both. At 6'3 200 pounds, its a possibility that Richardson could grow into a hybrid TE, in the mold of teammate, 2016 Ohio State commit Kierre Hawkins.

Some other names who are seriously considering Ohio State are, 4 star Keyshawn Johnson Jr., 4 star Emmanuel Greene, and 5 star Donovan Peoples-Jones. There will also be many names, that will likely surface between now and National Signing Day 2017.

Keyshawn Jr. is expected to visit Ohio State again this summer, and will be making a decision in the middle of his Junior season, according to his dad.

Emmanuel Greene stated after his recent Miami visit, that Miami has tied Ohio State at the top. He's visiting Ohio State for the Spring Game with some other IMG Academy teammates, and a decision could come soon after, as he wants to end his recruitment early.

There hasn't been any news on Peoples-Jones lately, but I believe this one will be Ohio State or Michigan, with it looking better for Michigan as of now.

Still a long way to go until NSD 2017, and I know many people aren't focused on the 2017 class with the 2016 class just beginning, but Ohio State's 2017 WR class, and the whole class altogether, is shaping up to be the best of the Meyer era.
