I just saw this, couldn't find any posts on it: another top-rated Buckeye state recruit leaves home. That means we've lost out on the 3 highest rated Ohio recruits in the last several years (with Bragg and Kennard from last year's class).
Kennard and Spellman are tough to swallow losing. Kennard is a stud who just passed LeBron on Ohio's scoring list and with the need for skilled big men, losing Spellman hurts. The other "centers" we're after, in-state at least, aren't any taller than Spellman and are much lighter than him at 270.
I like Funderburk, and Ward is a Columbus kid, but Spellman is a beast and it sucks that he ended up at Nova.
