Some of the best players to ever do it at Ohio State were underrated recruits coming out of high school. Guys like Malcom Jenkins, James Laurinitis, Aj Hawk, Big Hank, Santonio Holmes and of course Troy Smith. Who do you think will be the under the radar stars of this class? My picks are Jamel Dean on defense and Kevin Feder on offense.
Jamel Dean has the rare combination of great size and speed. He's 6-2 with track star speed. He's already on campus working. I look for him to play on special teams next season and be a big impact guy for the Buckeyes down the road.
Kevin Feder has the frame and athleticism to be a franchise left tackle. This guy has big time potential and Ed Warriner is the best in the business at getting the best out of guys.
