So I was bored at work earlier and decided to look up some coaches on Twitter to see what their twitter page looked like/what their twitter game was like. I noticed on Bob Stoops' page that he was tweeting recruits/commits with pictures of said recruit/commit. I remember something about a rule that states coaches can't explicitly name recruits in the media until they sign/their paperwork gets faxed in. Is that still a thing? Does anyone know what types of media it applies to? Does social media count?
Heres the tweet:
EDIT: This kid has already signed with OU, so as mentioned below, this is fine. But still curious about the rules and how they apply to social media anyways.
