The Buckeyes missed out on five-star SG Luke Kennard and the staff isn't wasting any time moving in on their next target. Austin Grandstaff is a highly rated shooting guard. 247Sports rates him as the 39th ranked prospect in 2015. He is one of the top shooters in the class.

Bring this kid in with Ahrens and this last season will be a bad shooting dream.

Bring this kid in with Ahrens and last season will be a bad shooting nightmare.

That's better.

Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...

This would be a great get for the team.  On a separate note, I don't know how we haven't offered kids like Ahrens and Ahmad yet.

Anyone know this kids 3 pt%? We need a specialist bad. Chics dig the longball and so do us fans who miss Diebler. Sucks we missed out on Kennard he will turn into a JJ Reddick type talent. Hate to say it but *ichigans coach is really developing the hell out of the talent he is getting and Im jealous as hell of it. Matta has a certain type of body and game that he is just in love with and I would hate to see us miss out on upcoming home state talent because they they do not fit into his stereotype.I guess he is breaking his mold a little by taking A.J. Harris the 5'8 145 lbs PG out of Dayton. His lack of having a physical presence down low to me is mind boggling.Every center and power forward doesnt have to be able to shoot 3's and run the floor like an ostrich to be super effective.

I speak the truth but I guess that's a foreign language to yall.~~Lil Wayne

Here's some stats on Grandstaff. Not sure why it skips 2012-2013, but his 3pt % for this season was 35%.

And don't feel bad about saying Beilein is good at developing players. It's true. He does a great job with his players.

Appreciate it I have some kind of virus connected to my search engines so its hard to just look stuff up myself at the moment. Averaging 27 points a game to go along with 7 rebounds seems pretty good to me.

Last time I spoke with his father, he said they wanted to set up a visit in the fall for a football game. Not sure if the visit "soon" would be official or they would wait until the fall to make that happen.

Let's give him what he wants - a night game in the fall...........
