I read 11W almost daily but haven't been on the forum much except as a lurker. Anyways, this was on another website and I wondered what some of you might think about these raw numbers? Obviously he inherits a different class of athlete than he had at Oklahoma St and Duke, plus we have no idea (or at least I don't) if when he started at the other OSU if the cupboard was stocked or bare. 

Just wondered if some of you think there might be some growing pains adjusting to his new style of defense? I'm hoping the opposite and that guys who were underachieving will take to the new schemes like moths to a flame.

Duke - total defense 26th/350 ypg scoring defense 25th/21 ppg

Oklahoma St - total defense 73rd/409 scoring defense 76th/29

2018 Knowles Takes Over as DC at Oklahoma St
2018 - total 115th/468 - scoring 98th/33
2019 - total 80th/420 - scoring 62th/27
2020 - total 44th/379 - scoring 33rd/23
2021 - total 4th/290 - scoring 10th/18
