J.T. Barrett's time with the Pittsburgh Steelers has come to an end.
The former Ohio State quarterback, who initially joined the Steelers in December, was one of eight players released by the Steelers on Sunday in their cut down to 80 players for the start of training camp.
Going into his third year out of Ohio State, Barrett has spent time with three NFL teams (also the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks), but has yet to play in a regular-season NFL game.
