ESPN was forced to layoff about 100 employees, many of them on air talent and reporters.  I, for one, am not sad or bothered in the least as I do not pay for ESPN, don't watch ESPN unless it involves college basketball or football and even then I prefer to give a bartender my money than that network.  And most importantly, I have long felt it's been unethical for them to own a piece of the SEC and the Longhorn Network as they force feed their personal agenda into high rankings for the teams they actively promote.

But perhaps I am alone in my loathing, for there are some folks that actually did good reporting that will be missed, like Ed Werner, Jayson Stark, and Len Elmore, while others like Trent Dilfer should have been shown the door a long time ago.

Anyone sad about this?
