Bill Rabinowitz of The Dispatch reports:
At first, all Austin Brizee wanted was a free Chipotle meal.
Now there's a chance the Ohio State junior could realize a dream not even he thought possible.
on December 27, shortly after the band wrapped practice on the indoor field at The Woody, Brizee commented to a couple of buddies that he could make a 55 yard field goal. Jabs were traded and eventually a bet was thrown down wherein the buddies would buy Chipotle if Brizee could hit the 55 yarder. What follows next is one for the record books:
It got the attention of Buckeyes assistant director of player personnel Eron Hodges who extended a walk-on offer to Brizee shortly after viewing the video.
Fairy tales can come true if you follow your stomach.
