TOS reporting that Samuel is moving on to the League. I, along with probably many of you, was hoping that the Buckeyes' only legitimate, consistent offensive weapon from 2016 would return for 2017. However, it looks like that is not the case.
Ohio State junior Curtis Samuel has decided to forgo his senior year and declare for the NFL Draft.
This was confirmed by 247Sports national director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong through sources close to the situation.
The 5-foot-11, 197-pound Samuel led the Buckeyes in receiving in 2016 with 74 catches for 865 yards (11.7 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns.
Good luck next year in the League Curtis. The 2016 Class certainly set the bar high. May you (and your fellow rookie Buckeyes) push it even higher!
