I am a huge Ohio State football fan. I travel up to Col from Nashville for at least two games every year. And in 2013 I went to the Big Ten championship game in Indy, and then the first playoff game in 2014 against Alabama in New Orleans.

BUT I am also too smart to sit and watch a football game on New Year's Eve. Now that my kids are grown and living in different cities, they are in town and we will be out for New Year's Eve together. There are times dedicated to wife and family, and New Year's Eve is one of them, like Valentine's Day. 

So nice work CFP. You had a perfect situation the first time around with games on New Year's Day. So you switched, and your ratings plummeted. You have made it unworkable for guys like me.
