Much has been said about the regression in the passing game since 2014.
- Tom Herman moved on
- Not enough OC eyes up in the booth
- Lack of WR development
- Tim Beck can't develop QBs
- JTBs arm strength
- No Devin Smith deep threat
- Warm Weather Players
Maybe some have validity. Maybe none do. I don't know for sure. What seems like a good, more obvious option, is that our last two right tackles aren't good in pass protection.
----------------------
2013: Reid Fragel - a former TE, beefed up and became a good RT, especially in pass-pro.
2014: Darryl Baldwin - a former DT/DE turned o-lineman, turned right tackle
2015: Chase Farris - a former DT, turned O-lineman, turned DT, turned right tackle. Couldn't pass protect well at all. Really was a guard trying to play tackle and it showed.
2016: Isaiah Prince - redshirt freshman, top tackle recruit. Has shown some flashes of potential, but isn't good at pass protection overall right now. Could still be good someday.

Maybe the passing game has regressed because our QBs/receivers have one or two seconds left to make decisions/get open.
