Whatever else we might have seen in yesterday's game, we did see a champion-caliber defense at work. From where I'm standing, Indiana looks to be one of the best offenses we'll face in the regular season, almost certainly better than the offense we'll face next week against Wisconsin. Michigan and Nebraska have better offenses (and Oklahoma definitely did), but aside from them, I don't think anyone else on our schedule has the firepower that Indiana threw at us. Let's face it, the Big Ten is still a primarily defensive league, and we're only going to face a few offenses that have a legitimate chance of threatening our defense. We faced one of the best, in my opinion, yesterday, and despite not performing at full potential (that one second half drive where we gave up 90 yards was absolutely disgusting) we still held Indiana to 17 points.
I'd be surprised if Wisconsin even puts 14 on us.
