Where Do Defensive Stats Go from Here?

The Ohio State defense is having a hell of a season through two games. To extrapolate the statistics over a season would be mind boggling...and impossible.

Defensive Scoring TDs: 3
Defensive TDs allowed: 0

Defensive Points Scored: 21 (extra points count)
Defensive Points Allowed: 6

Offensive Points Allowed: 7 (extra points count)
Defensive Points Allowed: 6

Our offense, for scoring purposes, has been entirely superfluous thus far in the season.

Here are our upcoming games:

Sept 17: @ Oklahoma
Oct 1: vs. Rutgers
Oct 8: vs. Indiana
Oct 15: @ Wisconsin
Oct 22: @ Penn State
I'll stop there.

Let me go out on a limb stating that I find it impossible to believe these trends will continue until the end of the season. My question is, when does it change, when does this script flip? Maybe (probably) it starts this weekend in Norman, but that may not be the whole story.

I want to hear from you.

When do the these statistics flip (1) for the first time and (2) for good on the season:

  • +/- Defensive TDs Allowed and Scored
  • +/- Defensive Points Allowed and Scored
  • +/- Defensive vs Offensive Points Allowed

Get it right, get an UV. "For the first time" matters most (always does), but if you're telling me we will come back an wallop Rutgers, I want to hear how it plays out from there. Go Bucks!
