  • Austin Mack 0 catches
  • Corey Smith 0 catches
  • Noah Brown 4 catches
  • Curtis Samuel leading the team in receptions (14) and averaging 17 per catch. 9th in the nation in all purpose yards. Only RB in top 60 (11th) of receiving yards per game.
  • As a team, averaging -2 yards rushing on 3rd down. Also -1 in the red zone
  • Nation high 7 interceptions (2015 team only had 12 total)
  • Defense on pace to have 82 pace breakups (2015 had 46 total)
  • Only 3 QB hurries recorded
  • 74th in the nation in TFL and 60th in sacks. Robert Landers leading the team in TFL with 3
  • Tied for 3rd in Scoring defense with only two field goals given up
  • Mike Weber quietly 19th in the nation in rushing yards per game

My 3 takeaways from these stats are: (1)The offense is still working out some kinks and Meyer will not hesitate to go back to his bread and butter if the passing game isn't working. (2) The defensive line is fast, but not big, so teams are forced to get the ball out fast which forces bad throws. (3) Curtis Samuel is one of the most dynamic and consistent players in the country

[MOD Edit: You gave this some thought and effort, so the thread remains remnants. Please work on the title. You can be more specific because otherwise this seems like one of the click bait ads.]
