for those of you who know me, I'm seeking outside perspective. 

Did you guys see as much promise as I did (if you watched VT-UT in Bristol) for VT, provided Fuente can get ball security issues and snap timing down? Idk, I thought when we weren't having horribly timed penalties and handing UTn 24 points (including a bad break on a rugby punt that hit a UT players heel and literally ricocheted 20 yds backwards directly to the only Vol player around, inside our 25) we seemed to matchup well if not better than UT...especially our QB Jerod Evans seemed the better passer over Dobbs

Just curious if I'm orange and maroon glasses blind, if I should just chalk it up to a fluky, bad night of mistakes, or if a third party like Buckeyes thought UTn outclassed us talent-wise that I'm not seeing?
