I know the accuracy of these early rankings of the mid to low tier teams isn't an exact  science, but....

They were ranked (49) : higher than Virginia Tech (the prime time match-up game team) , Minnesota, Northwestern, Arizona st, Arizona, etc.

This was not one of those 100* ranked type teams and think they'll surprise a few folk later in the season.  Still, in the end we dominated them.  

We are now in the top 5 for both total offense and total Defense:

Now that's a very nice balance for not playing any FCS teams. 

Not too shabby for this young team , but next week should tell us where they really are (although, being this young, I wouldn't rule out a total disaster coming out of Norman, and yet see this team thrive from that going forward)
