The 1983 draft saw 6 quarterbacks taken in the 1st round.    Certainly we will not see that again this weekend but it is likely we will see 6 taken in the 1st 2 rounds.    QBs will go 1 and 2 with the rest likely to follow at the end of the 1st going through the second.   I can't remember a time that there were so many potentially quality QBs available for a draft.

In the 1983 draft, 3 of those became Hall of Famers and one additional, Ken O'Brien made a Pro Bowl.    Interestingly enough, after the 1st round of 1983 no other quarterback was taken until again until round 5.  The only other QB name you may know from that draft was Gary Kubiak who was taken in round 8.   Back then the draft went 12 rounds.

So in 10 years who will we look back on as the stars of this draft?  Will it be Wentz or Goff like LA and Philadelphia hope or will it be the later rounders like Lynch, Cook, Hackenburg, Dak Prescott or Cardale?    I looked at the chart and there are 27 quarterbacks available in this draft.
