I looked all over and couldn't find a thread discussing this, so feel free to delete if this has already been said.
Looking at the scholarship grid here at eleven warriors, if everyone departs early who is considering departing early, we will only have six seniors in next year's class. One of which is Cameron Johnston, who of course is our punter.
Of these six, only three will have started a game for the buckeyes (Dontre Wilson, Pat Elflein, and the aforementioned Johnston).
There is potential for medical redshirts from Joel Hale and Corey Smith, but from my understanding these are unlikely.
Senior leadership is important, especially when trying to prepare an inexperienced team prepare for a rigorous early-season non-conference schedule.
What do you guys think of the situation?
