Seems like yesterday  - but looking back to Scarlet and Grey days episodes (well done btw) I admit never liked the episode dubbing the season "The Grind".  Just thought that last years "The Chase" was a rallying cry - something to get behind - and this years was a tough sell to 18-22 yr olds. who went through a lot the prior year.

If someone says to you in your job or athletics -  last yr. was great ...but this years going to be a Grind - you kind of naturally go - meh - not looking forward to it then.

Hindsight is always perfect sight - and I get the grind out one game at a time mentality - but something more playing into all the doubters last year and still having to prove it might have been a better psychological push.  

"Leave no doubters" - or  - "Make History" - "Leave your Mark" - "Back It Up"  - something along the line of those type phrases seem more motivational and pose a challenge to the team.
