So, I'm a big fan of the Solid Verbal podcast and am a recipient of their weekly email, "The Newsletter of Intent". In this week's iteration, under the "Taylor's Weekly Readers" section (composed by someone known as Taylor Schwink at something called Red Shell Radio), was the following:
"Houston Chronicle Accidentally Burns Urban Meyer, Apologizes by Samer Kalaf – Smack talk is part of what makes sports great. And especially in a public setting! Not a whole lot to read here, but certainly worth a laugh: Urban Meyer told the media his field goal return play is, naturally, called “Bama.” An employee at the Houston Chronicle apparently forgot to flip from the paper’s Twitter account to his own and ended up blasting Ohio State’s coach in a way that probably made many newspaper folk turn red in the face. Despite the Houston Chronicle’s apology, this man was only speaking the truth. As a journalistic institution, they should respect that."
Did that read like I think it read?
