So going into the year everyone has certain games that look interesting from a conference perspective. Oregon was supposed to be a top 10-15 team. Virginia Tech was returning a lot of talent and was expected to win at least 8 games. From a Big Ten perspective we have some interesting OOC wins that didn't look great before the season. Iowa beating Pitt is looking pretty good right now. Northwestern beating Stanford was impressive always but now that Duke is in the ranking discussion thats a good win as well. Also, although not a win, Penn St losing to Temple isn't as terrible, although not ideal. On the reverse, TCU was banking on Minnesota being a Big Ten West contender and they have fallen off this year(only won by 7). I know we aren't "Big Ten" fans like the SEC but conference strength does come into play with the playoffs and seeding. Does anyone else have some unforeseen OOC implications now that we have we have a general idea of what is a good win and what isn't.
